Picking Out a Puggle1
The puggle breed is fairly new (at least as an intentional breed anyway). Information on puggles was hard to come by and I thought it would be impossible to find a breeder in our area. But we pushed on. We searched for a few weeks. I think I called every animal shelter in the state. We searched all of the puppy finder websites. We couldn’t find a puggle in the Wilmington, North Carolina area or within 150 miles. I remembered that the woman on the beach had gotten her puggle in Montana and had him flown to her.
