Today we took Gracie (our 11 week old puggle) to the vet for her second DHLPP shot. From what I understand the letters can best be understood as such:
D - Distemper
H - Hepatitis
L - Leptosporosis
P - Parainfluenza
P - Parvovirus
What a mouthful!

As your puggle puppy grows, so should your knowledge about preventative health care measures. When it comes down to it, dogs are really not that hard to take care of. That doesn’t mean that you should slack off and avoid monitoring their needs though. Your puggle will provide you with joy for years to come, as long as you hold up your end of the bargain and keep your puppy healthy and fit.
