After asking around and doing quite a bit of research we found that the best crate (for our money) was the Midwest Folding Crate series. Why are they the best? Allow me to explain…
1) This is the only crate you will ever need
That’s because this crate grows along with your puppy. The Midwest Folding Crate comes with a divider that allows you to block off a portion of the crate while your puppy is still growing. Dogs will rarely urinate or defecate in their sleeping area. If you put your 3 lb. puppy in a crate built for a 20 lb. dog, they will simply relieve them self in one corner and sleep in the other. This limits the effectiveness of your potty training efforts.
2) It is lightweight and portable

3) Easy to clean
The crate comes with a removable plastic tray so if your puppy has an accident it can easily be cleaned. Simply pull it out, wipe it down, and put it back. Replacement pans are also available should you lose or need a spare tray.
